Check your Google Ranking

We have a few tools here that can help you check your google ranking. They are all different in their ability so check them all out.

Increase Ranking Google Tool

Where does your site rank on Google for your targeted keyword phrases?

You can easily find out by using our new Increase Ranking Google Tool!

Our tool allows you to check up to 25 keywords on 5 different sites. It keeps a record of your rankings so you can compare them each time.

SEO Chat Google Tool

Which sites are ranking for your keyword phrases?

This tool will show you the results for keyword phrases across multiple Google Data Centers.

You can check one keyword at a time on as many data centers as you'de like.

Google's main data center is www1. This is what you see when you go to www.google.com to do a search.

You may find that the results vary on www1 www2 and www3.

Google has several data centers around the world composed of thousands of individual computers. During an update, www2 and www3 are supposedly "setting the stage" for the new index. You can usually see the results migrate from www2 and www3 to the www1 data center over a period of days.

**NOTE** Google doesn't seem to be allowing the check of all the data centers at this time. This disabling from Google occured shortly after the latest Update started on 1-24-04. Hopefully they will get rid of their block soon.

You can still check each data center, just not all of them at one time. Choose the option of checking www 1,2 and 3 and then choose 1 other data base to add, this still works fine.

Google Rankings Tool

This tool will allow you to check your website for one keyword phrase at a time. It is most useful for terms that you have fallen way down or keyword phrases you have just started optimizing for because it can check up to position 1000.

Google Tool Bar

The Google Tool Bar is useful for the common internet searcher, the webmaster and the SEO. Download it here.

Uses for the common internet searcher, which includes all of us.
  • Block Pop-ups feature! We all know the value of this! You can allow pop-ups on certain sites if you wish, but you don't have to be bothered with annoying pop-ups ever again.

  • Search Web feature saves the time of having to go to a search engine, typing in www.google.com, to begin your search, because the search bar is always there when your browser is open.

  • Search This Site feature helps you find exactly what you are looking for on the site you are visiting. This is especially helpful on all those sites with a poor navigation system.
Uses for the webmaster and the SEO
  • PageRank feature is helpful during your link building process so you can see what importance Google puts on the site you may wish to link to.
  • Backlinks feature is helpful to see who is linking to your site and/or who is linking to any site you have an interest in.
:: note: This function does NOT show all the sites who link to you, it will only show a SAMPLING and it changes on a continuing basis. ::
Uses for SEOs ... at least my secret SEO uses...shhhhh...

As an SEO I consider placement and usage of my targeted keyword phrases. Every SEO has their own way of viewing the distribution of their targeted phrases. Many have said they actually place font tags around all their keyword phrases so they can see them clearly before going live. Not a bad idea, just not necessary!

You can do it the easy way, thanks to Google's Tool Bar!

Once you have it installed follow these directions for the easiest way on earth to see where your keywords are placed on your page.
  • Type your keyword phrase into the search box on the tool bar. :: DO NOT click SEARCH WEB...Do Not! ::

  • Click on the highlighter (It looks like a yellow tipped eraser.)

Now, all your keyword phrases will be highlighted in different colors on your page! You can see the placement of each phrase and each keyword on your page.....I am seriously grateful for this tool!
